Payment Procedure
The payment procedure for buying products at OpenSourceDeal.com is as follows :
1. Firstly, you need to Register with us and provide your Shipping and Billing address alongwith other personal details. This information is used only by OpenSourceDeal (See Privacy Policy for more details).
2. Choose product(s) by browsing through our Products section and start adding them to your Shopping Cart.
3. When you are done choosing all the open source software you want, proceed to Checkout
4. Checking out is 4 Step Process.
5. In Step One, you choose the best Shipping option for you.
6. In the same section, you can write special comments regarding your order (For Eg, if you are gifting this to someone, you might want to mention that).
7. Continuing Checkout, Step Two shows you your Billing Address and prompts you to choose a Payment Option.
8. You can choose to use the Billing address entered during Registration or add a new one.
9. Choose from one of the following Payment methods :
a. Cheque/Money Order : If you plan to drop a cheque at the nearest drop box.
b. DirecPay : If you plan to pay using either of Credit Cards, Debit Cards or NetBanking.
c. Paypal : If you wish to transfer money directly to our paypal account. (Note : In this option, the rate is coverted from Rupees to the current Dollar rate).
10. Step Three shows you all the details entered and all the products chosen, gicing you one last chance to add edit the information before procedding to the final check-out process.
11. In Step Four, depending on your choice of Payment option, this step will redirect you to either DirecPay or Paypal's website wherein you enter your payment details.
12. In case of the Payment Option : "Cheque/Money Order" or after you have successfully finished checking-out from DirecPay/PayPal, you will see the "Check-out Success" screen.
13. That's it !!! You have just made one of the best investments of your life.

Shipping Policies
Flat-rate shipping
We offer flat-rate shipping on all orders. We don't charge you per item or for the weight of the order;
we only charge you a low flat-rate shipping charge!

Free shipping
All orders over INR 1000.00 automatically receive free shipping.

Shipping time
Orders are typically processed the same day and shipped out the next business day. Orders are not shipped on national holidays or weekends.

Delivery options
Shipping is carried out through DTDC Courier Services.


Returns Policy
Though we ensure that an item is shipped in an impeccable condition, but during shipping and handling, an item can get damaged. In such a scenario, please email us at orders@opensourcedeal.com and we will have your item replaced at no extra cost.

We only use Moser Baer CDs/DVDs for all the distros that we provide our users.
